Intraoral Scanning
We strive to be a state-of-the-art office by offering goop-free, full digital impressions with the revolutionary iTero Element™ Scanner. A digital impression is not only more comfortable, but it is also much more accurate than a physical one. The scanner takes an incredibly detailed impression of your teeth and gums. Once the scan is complete, Dr. Meyer will then create a 3D model of your mouth that can be used with all Invisalign® services, including the Invisalign Outcome Simulator to show you what your new smile might look like.
How It Works
The iTero Element™ Intraoral Scanner is engineered to capture 6,000 frames per second, resulting in a real-time 3D visualization of the digital scan. The scan is ready in just minutes for viewing on a multi-touch screen. There are also many benefits to this technology:
